Just A Little  Six Pointed  Passion  

Utilizing scraps in this design brought life, movement

and excitement to this sampler quilt. Small

strips of silk left over from a previous project

added interest to the star points. Border prints to

fussy cut, polka dots, medium paisley, large floral,

some all over prints and some tone on tones—

what ever fabric you decide on, this is a great

quilt and the design will come to life right before

your eyes! Quilt = 52” X 71”

  BASIC SEWING SUPPLIES click here                                 

 

 Equilateral Triangle (60*) Sara Nephew -

Clear View Triangle Ruler (Helpful to have

both 6” and 12” size)Design Wall (vinyl tablecloth with flannel backing works well for this)

Fabric:

 

 Backgrounds-These are the darks in my sample-

You will need 4-½ yd and 6-¼ yd

pieces. You may use more if you like but I

would with 10 different pieces.

 

 Star Fabrics– bring 12-1/8 yd to ¼ yd pieces.

Vary your prints, sizes, colors, lights and

mediums, and you may want to include different

textures
