Spring Quilt Break 2007Home Page

 

Evergreen Piecemakers Quilt Guild of Kent, WA sponsors Spring Quilt Break.  It was founded in order to provide an affordable opportunity for all quiltmakers to learn in a conference setting.  Come and get away from it all to learn, sew and have fun!

Location
Spring Break is held at the Holiday Inn of Renton, conveniently located twelve miles southeast of Seattle. Click here to view map and driving instructions.

Contact the Holiday Inn Select at 1 South Grady Way, Renton, WA  98055, (425) 226-7700 to reserve your room.  Indicate that you are an Evergreen Piecemaker Spring Quilt Break attendee to receive special rates of $84.00 plus 12.6% tax.  Reservations should be made by February 26, 2007 to guarantee this group rate.  The hotel has a coffee shop, dining room, lounge, and other amenities.  They also provide airport pick-up by request.

Registration
Registration must be by mail, on or before February 25, 2007.  Classes will be filled on a “First Come, First Served” basis, to EP members until September 12, 2006, then to the general public.  Mail your registration early as Spring Quilt Break is limited to 91 participants.  Mail to: Yvonne Cottell, 22217 233rd Avenue SE, Maple Valley, WA  98038.

Conference Fee
The fee for Spring Quilt Break is $240.00.   Fee includes Thursday “Get Acquainted Social”, 2-1/2 days of workshops, 3 luncheons, 2 lectures, and a narrated Show and tell.  Participants have two options for payment:
   Option #1 – Pay in full at the time of registration 
   Option #2 – Pay $120.00 at time of registration and balance of $120.00 by Feb. 1, 2007

NOTE:  One-day registrations will be accepted after November 15, 2006 as space allows.  The single day fee, including luncheon/lecture is $80.  This must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Luncheon/Lectures “only” may be purchased for $25.00 each.  Please indicate which day(s) on registration form.  Luncheon/Lecture "only" reservations accepted until March 20, 2007.


Refund Policy
Refund request must be in writing, postmarked by January 15, 2007  and will be subject to a $25 administrative fee.  Transfer of registration will be accepted and not subject to the $25 fee.   Contact Spring Quilt Break with any registration changes. No refunds after January 15, 2007.

Vegetarian Meals
At registration, upon your request, vegetarian meals may be substituted for our luncheon selection.  There will be no other substitutions.
