– “Hand of the Artist: Putting Myself
Into The Work” Colleen Wise being
an artist means expressing myself--and
that means revealing myself. As my work matures, I
find that I am putting more and more of myself and my life into my
quilts.This trunk show and lecture will show
this progression, from my first tentative steps
"outside the box" to my latest series.
I'll talk about my working methods and (virtually)
invite you into my studio. You might be surprised at what shows up
(and what doesn't!) on the quilt
surface.

– “Wearable Art for Every Body”
Lorraine Torrence, known in the
quilting world for
creative garments, will present a trunk show. She will help all of
us petite to larger
find a way to wear our art. Some garments will be modeled by
participants. Others will be on mannequins. Lorraine
will use life size paper dolls with various body types to illustrate flattering
garment
